This school and the teachers have become an extention of home for my children.  The teachers have loved my children and have provided us with a sense of stability when things weren’t exactly stable.  As a single mom, having a place like Kids Village as an option for my children while I’m at work, to go and learn and experience new things is such a gift.  I know everyday that they are there that they’ll be taught, loved and nurtured.  Every child should have an opportunity to learn in such an idyllic environment.  It is magical.

I have noticed a huge improvement as far as my daughters learning and confidence with learning.  She is teaching me things.  One achievement of hers that I’m most proud of if her abiltiy to start reading and writing all her letters and numbers.  I have also noticed that she is quite the little artist.  She has become much more creative this last year.  We have absolutely loved Kids Village and we are excited for our son to attend next year.

We can’t thank you enough for the wonderful work you do.  We have considered ourselves blessed to have found such a great school for our daughter in the early years.  It has really just been one joy after another.  From the activities and performances she has been able to participate in; to the learning and confidence she has gained.  We will definitely be back with our other children.

This year our daughter has looked forward to each day of school with excitement.  All of her teachers are absolutely wonderful, and she loves to see and interact with her friends at school.  She has made great progress in all her subjects, especially in reading.  I could barely believe it when she started reading full books all by herself!  It seems like one day she was still putting sounds together , and the next day she was reading full sentences!  She is so proud of herself.  She has also learned so much in History, Cooking, Music & Math.  One of her favorite classes is History!  She comes home and tells me many of the stories she has been learning throughout the year.

I really love how each month has a theme to teach the children good values.  I have noticed our daughter working hard to live up to those values, and is proud when she gets to bring home her arm band.  I have also always noticed how all the staff at the Village always show such a sweet kindness to the children.  We know she as in good hands, you are all so wonderful!  Thank you!

This year in Tater Tots our son made huge leaps in his reading abiltiy.  He is now reading comfortably on a 1st grade level.  More importantly, he has developed a love of reading.  Thank you Kids Village for helping me instill this love of books in my son!

Reasons I picked Kids Village:

-The core curriculum is research based and doesn’t focus on memorization.  It focuses on students understanding the basic principles of how and why and then systematically builds on that.  My children are learning so much!

– Kids Village doesn’t just focus on academics.  Academics are important by they also focus on social, emotional and personal development.

-The wide variety of activities available in all the classrooms.  The activities are fun but have an educational purpose.

-Structure.  There is structure to the day.  There is a routine that the students can plan on, but the structure and routine is not so set that the students can’t be creative and explore.

-The faculty.  They are well trained.  They are knowledgeable.  They are happy, friendly and very caring.  One of my sons was painfully shy when he started at Kids Village.  The faculty there was able to help boost his confidence and come out of his shell.  They are able to focus on the students strengths and embrace them to help the student succeed and overcome and compensate for thier weaknesses.

-It’s safe.  Kids Village has procedures and protocols that are in place and followed so I have no doubt that my children are in good hands.

-From the moment you walk in, it’s friendly and inviting.  From the friendly staff that greet you to the fun decor.  It’s more than a school, it’s an experience of exploration, of acceptance, joy, curiostiy, academics, music, art, science, technology and so much more.
