humanitarian-haunt-tyTo all the friends, families, students, and teachers who joined us at the Kids Village Humanitarian Haunt on October 27-28, 2016, THANK YOU! You helped us to raise almost $13,000 for Friday’s Kids Respite!

Our dedicated teachers and staff put endless days and many, many hours putting together this fun and festive haunt.

Every year, our school puts together the Humanitarian Haunt to celebrate the season with our students and families and to raise money for a cause we believe in. This year we picked a charity we had given to in the past – Friday’s Kids Respite. This incredible organization provides specialized temporary care to children with special needs by providing a short period of rest to their usual caregivers.

This year, the Humanitarian Haunt included games such as candy corn bowling, spooky lagoon fishing, a haunted cakewalk, and more! We had a bake sale with goodies galore donated by our amazing teachers and staff, and hot boxed lunches, popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy.

Watch the highlights of the Haunt in this video, and be sure to check out photos from the event on our Facebook page!
